The Blind Leading the Blind
Countless times we meet new people and they are given the benefit of the doubt without any proof or foundation base. We automatically believe they know what they speak of without any verification. Why must this be? Is it because we are so blind that we are desperate for one to follow? This must be the reason why so many bad relationships, failed marriages, failed business partnership, etc. arise after a few moments of success.
This is not the physical blindness that we cannot see through our eyes. This is the blindness that we cannot see through our spirit and soul. We have cluttered our lives with so much materialistic trash that we will follow and cling to anyone with a greed filled heart until they suck you dry whether spiritually, emotionally, or financially.
The only person that should be given that much faith and trust is our Lord Christ Jesus. He gave us the ultimate sacrifice as He died on the cross for our sins so we could be saved. Yet we steadily run away and follow the blind.
If the blind is leading the blind, then we will never know where we are going. We must stop this cycle of faithless and hopeless following before the blind leads us to the ultimate dead end. Remember, the enemy WANTS you to go to hell.
It is a must that we open our eyes and see that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has never left us. He has always been next to us and in us as we commit our sins with no remorse. This cannot be. We need to prove to Him that He did not die for no reason and that we appreciate Him for all that He did, all that He is doing, and all that He WILL do for us.
Let us open our eyes and stop following the blind hearted and walk with Jesus and He will NEVER lead us astray as HE is the WAY, the TRUTH, the LIFE, and the Light of the world.
