My Giving of Thanks

Servant of Christ Jesus

I give all my thanks to God, the One who is higher than the heavens and the earth. The One who gives us life and takes it back. The One who sacrificed his ONLY Son so that we may live. All things belong to God, and I am thankful that He is the God who provides.

Although we give thanks to people for their good deeds and other things they do in our lives, we must always give God the first and foremost thanks and glorifications. Without God, nothing is possible but sin and death, but with God, nothing is impossible. He has control over everything including the people who do good works in our lives. As we thank them for what they do, we must FIRST thank God for them being who they are and how He uses them in our lives and PERFECTLY places them at the right times.

Servant of Christ Jesus

Freedom is Here!

Today I went back to the river where I started to drown and everything started to go under. I am at the beach where the relationship I thought was everything had came to an end. At that time, just a little under two years ago, the lady in my life decided to say goodbye.  So much pain and hurt at the time. I couldn’t believe the person I had dedicated two years of my life to could caused me this much pain.

Now almost two years later, I can’t help but smile and be thankful.  I now realize that it wasn’t her leaving me, but it was God taking control over my life and my spirit. At this point in my life, I have left all the darkness behind and feel so alive and free. Continue reading

Enemy’s Plan to Devour You!

Servant of Christ Jesus

For those who are not aware, the enemy is still alive and very strong! As time goes by, new things are introduced so the enemy updates this game plan to continue to devour us and keep us away from our Lord and Savior. I urge you to watch/read through this video to know the elaborate plan the enemy has provided his demons. Be mindful of these plans not to get trapped. If you feel that you are already a victim, it is never too late to be set free from captivity. Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus loves you so much more than you can ever imagine. When He died on the cross, His arms were wide open, with love, providing us shelter from anything that can harm us.

What Am I Desperate For?

Servant of Christ Jesus

I remember there was so much I wanted at a time in my life. I would seek a way to get it at any cost. Once I would get it, I would use it for a moment, and then soon thereafter it would be forgotten. All that work to attain something that once acquired, means absolutely nothing in my life and in the end, it is just a means to collect more dust. Oh yes we see the fancy cars, the big houses, the bright jewelry. I had a hunger for all of it.

Now, when I see these things, I ask will this fancy car not take me the same place as this simple car? Will I not sleep the same in this regular house? Is the light of Jesus not brighter than ALL the jewels, diamonds, gold and silver of this earth? Oh how the wants I once cared for are no more. Continue reading

I Must Be About The Business of My Father!

Servant of Christ Jesus

Be about the business of our Father. Let him fulfill His will through us. Let us not view life based on our own understanding but through the understanding of the Lord. Share the word of the Lord through your actions so you may captivate the ears of our audience so they can openly, freely, and willingly listen to the word of the Lord.

In any situation you may be in, deliver the word of the Lord. Until the whole world hears, our duties are not done for the Lord. Whether we may lose our vision, our hearing, our ability to write, we still have a way to deliver the message. For if we are deaf, dumb, mute, and blind, we still have the power of prayer to share the love the Lord. We must not rest until our bodies past away and our spirits are have returned to our Father. Even in our final farewell, and we are no more, leave the message to all those you have left behind on earth, and that you will be waiting for in the Kingdom of God, to love the Lord, with all you heart, all your strength, all your mind and soul.

37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:37-38
