My Giving of Thanks
I give all my thanks to God, the One who is higher than the heavens and the earth. The One who gives us life and takes it back. The One who sacrificed his ONLY Son so that we may live. All things belong to God, and I am thankful that He is the God who provides.
Although we give thanks to people for their good deeds and other things they do in our lives, we must always give God the first and foremost thanks and glorifications. Without God, nothing is possible but sin and death, but with God, nothing is impossible. He has control over everything including the people who do good works in our lives. As we thank them for what they do, we must FIRST thank God for them being who they are and how He uses them in our lives and PERFECTLY places them at the right times.

Christ Jesus gave me the biggest gift I could ever receive and for that gift I will forever praise His Holy Name. The gift given to me, I will never find it on earth in the stores the day after thanksgiving no matter how early I wake up or how many lines I wait in. This gift is extremely expensive that no one but Christ himself can afford to purchase it, and it cost Him EVERYTHING, and this gift was given to me FREE at no cost. I have been redeemed through the blood of Christ who washed away my sins and has made my spirit white as snow. I no longer live with that crimson stain. For this gift, I am eternally thankful.
We all, heathens and Christians can easily be thankful for the physical gifts of this world that pass with this dying earth. We eat food, we have entertainment, we have our friends and family, but without our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as the forefront of our lives, we have nothing to be thankful for because it will all pass away and die.
However, blessed are the ones who live for the Lord. He will create a pure heart in them and they will give all praise and glory to the Lord and He will provide them an abundance through the Holy Spirit.

I give thanks to You Lord because I am not worthy of Your mercy. I was lost and now I am found in Christ. I cursed Your name when things went bad but praised my name when things went good. I was far worse than those who do not know you. I knew who you were but still blasphemed Your Holy Name. For that I am deserving of death, judgment, and condemnation but Thank You God You are the God who forgives.
I give thanks to the Holy Spirit for taking control over me and opening my spiritually blind eyes so I can see Your love pouring down upon me at Calvary’s cross. I thank You God for exclaiming to Moses “I AM WHO I AM” because You are who You are! Lord I give thanks because of who You are and not for what You do. All belongs to You so You can do as You please, but the fact that You want to live with us and befriend us, as lowly as we are, I am eternally thankful.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for being the Way, the Truth, and the Life. You give me life to continue. I thank You for being the Light of the world. When I was walking in darkness, I was heading down the path of destruction, condemnation, judgment, and ultimately death, but now I can clearly see where I am going and it is beautiful.
I give thanks for Your guidance because I do not know where I would be without you Lord. I thank you for bringing hope to the hopeless. I thank you for setting me free. I thank you for taking control of my life and making me a faithful bond servant in your name so I can server others in order to show them your glory.
Lord I thank You for the blessings of certain people you have placed in my life at the perfect times.
Soon and very soon, I know I will stand at your presence and I will fall to my knees. I will never be worthy of you, but being the loving God that You are, you will extended Your hand to me. For that, I am eternally thankful.

Lord, I give thanks to Your Holy Name. When I did not know You, You were still working in my life to set a path. I will forever praise Your name. I give You thanks for allotting me with exactly what I need not to turn my back on you when having too much or cursing your name for having too little.
GOD, I thank you for hearing my prayers when I cry out to You. You answer all my cries when my spirit is dry in the desert. You overwhelm me with the Holy Spirit to quench my thirst.
JESUS, I thank You for the so many reasons you give me to love you. I love you for death and life and freedom!
There is NOTHING I can give thanks to without giving YOU thanks for ALL You have given me through Your son Jesus the Christ!

7 Two things I request of You
(Deprive me not before I die):
8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches—
Feed me with the food allotted to me;
9 Lest I be full and deny You,
And say, “Who is the LORD?”
Or lest I be poor and steal,
And profane the name of my God.
Proverbs 30:7-9
1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Psalms 121
