Everyone Hates Me!
In John 15:18, Jesus says “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”
It is amazing to see when our eyes our opened, and the spiritual blindness has been lifted from our sinful eyes, how wicked the world really is. As followers of the Lord, Jesus Christ, people (the world) will hate us, most because we follow the Light of the world and darkness hates light, especially the Light. It is just like turning on a bright light in a house with roaches, they will scatter and hide in the darkness. However, when roaches get caught in the light, they will get killed. The same will happen to the roaches that hate the Lord, unless they repent and ask for forgiveness. Do not keep one foot in the world, and try to put the other in heaven. you will be divided and unequally yoked. You cannot serve two masters. If you feel the world has more to offer, or you can’t accept being hated by the world, due to your pride and need to keep up your self image, then by all means stay in the world. However, you will get squashed when the Light of the world shines bright and there is no where to run, no where to hide. Rejoice in the presence of the Lord and be equally grounded with both feet in the Kingdom of God.
