I Trust You

Servant of Christ Jesus

Matthew 11:28 reads from the Amplified Bible “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]”

Trust is one of the toughest things we can overcome especially when we have been deceived many times. Before we came to know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we placed our trust in men and most assuredly the devil used them to deceive us. By the time we get to Christ, our spirits are broken, willing to trust the Lord, but our hearts are hardened. The devil puts the thought into our mind, “Why trust in Christ if everyone else has already let you down?” My friends, the devil is a liar. We start to love, respect, listen and follow the guidance of Jesus the Christ, but the ultimate test to fully overcome Satan’s yoke, and break free from the world is trusting our Savior to deliver us from troubling times. That is why in Matthew 11:28, Jesus is telling us to put ALL of our trust, our burdens, and anything that may bring worry into our hearts and souls on His account, and He will return to us peace and comfort. My dearest friends, we do not have to live life full of worry and turmoil about tomorrow when we have today to enjoy. Jesus came to give all that believe in Him life more abundantly so let us enjoy the life that our Savior and Redeemer has given us! God bless!

One Response to “I Trust You”

  • Danielle P. Silfort Says:

Although my main goal is to put all my trust in God, I'm ashamed to say that is not usually my first reaction. Without realizing it, I usually start handling the situation until I found a bump on the road. And even after I put my trust in God, I sometimes have a little doubt in the back of my head. I try to ignore all the devil's lies. Sometimes I win the battle and other times I lose it.
