Just Wait
John 13:27 reads ‘Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”’
Do you notice when we sin, we run and do it quickly, hoping that we do not get caught in our sins? We try to be discreet and work in darkness so what we do, no one will know. My friends, we cannot hide from God. We see celebrities, athletes, politicians, church leaders, etc get caught in scandals based on what they do in darkness. Well my friends, how about the scandals in our lives? We need to slow down and wait, to see if the first thought that enters our mind is the right thing to do. We tend to say go with our first instinct, or go with our heart, well let’s not do that. Let’s go with the first thing God tells us to do; He is honest, just, and righteous, and has a perfect plan for our lives. All things that we do in darkness will come to light, so if we do everything in the light, there will be nothing to be revealed from darkness. God bless!

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:13-16
