Being Like Your Teacher and Master

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 10:25, Jesus says to the disciples “It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!

Now it is only natural and logical if they love the Master, they will love His servants; if they hate the Master, they will have His servants. If they hate the parents, they will hate their children; if they love the parents, they will love their children. We are only a reflection of whom we serve (in which some of us need to clean up our mirror to project a cleaner reflection). Often times, when a child turns out a certain way, it is looked back upon the parents to see if they shared a similar situation in their lifetime. Just as we resemble our parents, we must do our best to resemble the Lord, our God, Jesus Christ. Yet the world might hate us, remember they hated Him first. We do not live for the world, but for the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
