When It’s Time To Leave

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 10:23, Jesus says to His disciples “When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Stand strong my brothers and sisters in Christ! Sometimes we may try to force the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ upon people, but that is not what Jesus wants us to do. Simply, if we share the word and we are not welcomed, leave. We are seed sowers sowing the glorious message in the hope of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who died on a cross four our sins, was buried but rose again on the third day to give us life. We are not trying to prove a point or win a debate, simply letting those without hope know that there is hope in something far greater, far better than life itself. God will never send us to do something we can’t do, so just in the nick of time, our Lord Jesus Christ will come down to provide us the strength, the guidance, and the deliverance that we long for.

Will You Endure to the End?

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 10:22, the Lord Jesus Christ tells the disciples “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Do you ever notice how there is a strong contention to those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ from those who do not? They look at us in disbelief because they are blinded by their unbelief caused by the enjoyment and comfort of their sins. They try to break the faith and spirit of the faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ. However, they fail to realize their is nothing stronger than the bond of the Holy Spirit of God which gives u the faith, hope and love in the name of Jesus Christ. O, the joy in our salvation given to us as a gift by the grace of God through faith. O, the comfort Stephen provides us when while being stoned, he looked up to Heaven and saw the Lord Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand of God with arms open wide waiting to receive His faithful child and embrace him who had endured to the end. O, how glorious a day that will be to hear the good words of our Lord, “Well done good and faithful servant!” Thank you God!

Dividing the Indivisible

Servant of Christ Jesus

While Jesus is preparing to send out His disciples, in Matthew 10:21 He tells them “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children will take a stand against their parents and will have them put to death.

The word of God is so POWERFUL! It has the power to cut us directly in half, dividing what we once thought was indivisible. Why would God allow brother to deliver brother and father his child? Why would God allow children to raise up against parents so they can be put to death? Brethren, brothers and sisters covered with the blood of the almighty Lord Jesus Christ, this not the will of God, it is the result of unbelief. It is solely the power of the word of God. The world is divided in two: those who believe and those who do not; those who have faith and those who do not; those who have hope and those who do not.; those who live in the Spirit and those who live in the flesh. Now the Spirit will always be persecuted by the flesh, but those who endure in the Spirit to the very end shall be saved. Which side are you on?

See It To Believe It

Servant of Christ Jesus

I don’t need to see it to believe it. I know you are there God. For this feeling of goodness and peace even while I walk through the desert is not something that I can provide for myself. Yet, my Lord, people say they must see You to believe You. Why won’t you reveal yourself to them if that is all they need to believe in you? Oh yes my Lord, it is obvious, they do not mean it. When you did show yourself, they did not believe you; when you died on the cross they did not believe you; when you rose again they did not believe you.

While the heart is hardened, no matter how obvious you appear to them, they will reject You. I know You are the God who provides all of what we need and not necessarily what we may want. You have been faithful to us despite our selfish ways. Although we constantly break our promises and commitments to you, you steadily stand firm on Yours. Why must we be like this Lord? Oh yes, that is right, we are nothing but mere humans and You are God. Lord, it is obvious that you exist. Even the ones who don’t believe in You must believe in You to acknowledge that You don’t exist. Continue reading

Who Shall Speak?

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 10:19-20, the Lord Jesus Christ is telling His disciples what will happen to them and where they will get their strength at the time it is needed.

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

This is the reason we must pray without ceasing to God through the Lord Jesus Christ; the reason why we must always be in the word of God and have the Word of God in us. So many of us are afraid to share the word of God because we are not sure what to say or afraid of being asked questions we do not have the answers to or know how to answer. When we continue to pray asking God to overflow us with His Holy Spirit, we have so much strength to speak the truth in love freely without fear, without worry. At the perfect moment, the Holy Spirit will speak through us to whomever questions the word of God and whomever has uncertainty on who the Lord Jesus Christ is. The Holy Spirit uses our body to be a witness and a testimony to the world, the lost sheep of the Lord, so they can hear the gospel through our actions, and then our words.
