Glorifying God
In Matthew 11:4-6, Jesus responds to the disciples of John the Baptist with the following verses:
Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.“
God does His will. He does not serve man to make them rich in wealth but He works miracles so we can believe. Jesus healed people. The blind could see and the lame could walk. The purpose in which we live as Christians, followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, is not for our own benefit, but to serve and glorify our God who loves us more than we can ever imagine. This love was shown on a cross where our God turned the worst tragedy, the biggest sin, into triumph and victory over death. Serving God getting out the gospel of Jesus Christ giving all the opportunity to be saved and have a relationship with Jesus Christ. By doing so, we keep the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ, always glorify our wonderful, merciful God Almighty. As the apostle Paul said, whether you eat or drink, or whatever it is that you do, do it to the glory of God.
