Confused

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 11:18-19, Jesus says to the multitude “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children.

It comes to a point, sometimes in our lives that we have no idea what we want. Our mindset becomes contradicting. When we say it should be one particular way, and then it becomes that way, we say “no”, it should be another way instead. One of the best examples is politics. We are in favor of one person and then when things do not go our way, we say “I never liked that person in the first place.” Our thoughts and world views can be as weak as the grass moved by the wind if our feet are not grounded with the knowledge of the Lord revealed to us through prayer and the Word of God. The thoughts and opinions of the world and of ourselves have no real meaning or significance if they are not from our Lord. We should ask God for guidance in all that we do.
