Chance After Chance

Servant of Christ Jesus

In Matthew 11:20-21, Jesus rebukes the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

God is faithful and just. He gives us many opportunities to repent of our sins and be reconciled with Him through the blood of His only Son, the Most Holy of all, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There have been so many signs and wonders done by the Lord to give us the chance to turn to Him. However, many people still reject Him  and do not turn from the wicked ways. A lot of people love their sins much more than they love their own lives. Thanks be to God that although we may not have the same knowledge this world has, we have knowledge and wisdom revealed to us from God. We were wise enough to repent from our sins, recognizing the wonders of our Lord and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. That is the wisest decision any individual could ever make! Thank you God for revealing Your knowledge and wisdom to us.
