When We Glorify Man…
It is like a vicious cycle. Another celebrity gets put under the microscope due to their transgressions. The media is having a field day and the public is in shock. We wonder why the world is in such shock when a public figure makes a mistake. The answer is simple. The world trusts the flesh, but God tells us the flesh is pure evil.
I just read a headline of a website, “Tiger Woods is ‘only human after all’ say variety of observers.” The world makes emphasis on promoting the flesh to the status of God so they can be perceived as gods because they can swing a golf club, shoot a basketball, catch or throw passes, or they may be a politician or church leader, or something to that extent. We glorify man to the highest and when he fails us, our hearts are broken. Continue reading
